About Quency

Quency's past two decades of professional experience have been a blessing. His work has enabled him to use the skills and experience he has gained over the many years to cut, style, color and perform complete makeovers that have been, and are, impressive to say the least. To see the happiness and joy in his clients eyes and expressions give great pride to both him and his professional team on a daily basis. Personally, Quency is proud and thankful to serve the Washington, D.C. community for well over a decade and to continue for many years to come. The support and respect the DC community has given to Quency, continues to help grow his career and to diversify his portfolio and better assist all clients.  

Quency's professional skills, techniques and styles have enabled him to become an artist and grow his creativity in more ways than he could have imagined. Clients have been great in allowing him to make recommendations and being open to try new styles that have resulted in changing their look completely, which was above and beyond what they were seeking.  Quency's experience has and will continue to be shared with his team and others in order to educate and train them so they too can continue their stylist professions.

Quency's past, current and new clients who continue to return and are satisfied with the work that he and his team performs, is a testament, that they are doing something wonderful and special. This has attributed to opportunities like the Miss America pageant in Miami, Univision DC, and also winning the “Best Salon” over the years.

A very special person in his life has attributed to his success and growth.  Ever since Quency can remember, he's had a special connection with his aunt. She is a nun and has dedicated her entire life to serving God.  She is always helping people that are less fortunate – with the sick, she is there to assist with their medicine; with all others, she provides clothing, food and for the elderly, she provides a home where they can spend their old age in peace. My faith is very important to me and has had a large part in my life and successes. I serve my faith as I have been blessed in so many ways and how my life has been enriched with love. 

Salon Quency is celebrating its fifth year anniversary and Quency could not be prouder of both himself and his team. Salon Quency has distinguished themselves above others throughout D.C. They do this by continuing to provide their clients high quality service and having a strong belief in continued education, this being key and important to keeping up with the current trends and fashion.
